His passion brought him to England in 2013 where he worked in Oxford and London Deanery Hospitals with a deep interest in research-based medicine, and led multiple clinical auditis within the NHS England. His papers have been published in esteemed international medical journals including Clinical Toxicology (USA), United States National Library of Health. His work in Acute & Emergency medicine saw him at the fore-front of COVID-19 initial ooperations in the UK. Dr. Umar chose to specialize further in Aesthetics & Hair Restoration Medicine and Surgery, pursuing post-graduate specialization from Queen Mary’s, the University of London. Dr. Umar is a Member (AMO) of the British Association of Hair Restoration Surgeons UK (BAHRS), he is also an Associate Member of the International Society of Hair Restoroation Surgeons USA (ISHRS) and an Associate Member of the British College of Aesthetic Medicine UK (BCAM). He is GMCM, UK registered.
For hair transplants, Dr. Umar Khan specializes in both Follicular Unit Extraction ((FUE) and Direct Hair Implantation (DHI) both of which involve no stitches and minimal discomfort. He has further developed a niche in female hair transplants (especially unshaven). He combines his unique approach with the latest techniques in Facial Aesthetics with the use of PRP, Regenerative an Anti-ageing Medicine and Dermatological Lasers to provide a comprehensive and bespoke plan for all his patient.
